Bauchi State Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Hon. Adamu Babayo Gabarin, has approved the immediate constitution of a new Management Board for Wikki Tourists Football Club.
The approval was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Information Officer of the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, Bashir Shehu.
He stated that the appointments were made based on merit, experience, and commitment to football development.
The newly constituted Management Board is chaired by Salmanu Abubakar, with Ishaka Babamaji appointed as Vice Chairman. Buhari Adam Muhammad will serve as Team Manager, while Adamu Idris Pali was named Secretary (Civil Servant).
Other members of the Management Board include Dauda M. Chiroma, Bashir Ibrahim Idris, Yahaya Idris Sulaiman, Bilyaminu Abubakar Chindo, Kabiru Mijinyawa, Yawale Inuwa, Saleh Ahmed Muhammad, Ahmed Nasiru Elshaik, and Ali Sale.
The Commissioner expressed confidence that the new management team will reposition Wikki Tourists FC for improved performance, professionalism, and sustainable development in domestic competitions.
