The Concerned Osun Group has expressed apprehension over alleged plans to disrupt the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) adhoc Congress scheduled to take place tomorrow, February 23, 2022.
The group in a statement to Apex News Exclusive pointed out that there are “credible reports that thugs working for the Oyo state government under ‘PMS boys’ are already in Osun to cause mayhem and commotion as the PDP prepares for its Adhoc Congress tomorrow.”
According to the statement, people in Osun State are warned to be vigilant as they go on with their daily activities.
It also admonished the Commissioner of Police and other security agencies to beef up security in the state and not allow PDP and their thugs to jeopardise the existing peace in the State.
The statement pointed out that Osun is a peaceful state and PDP from Oyo or Osun should not instigate violence in the “State of the Living Spring”.
