The family of a Taraba State-based businessman, Alhaji Mayo, are worried that his kidnappers have refused to set him free after paying a whopping N100million ransom.
Speaking on behalf of Alhaji Mayo family, Mallam Ibrahim Takum noted that the Takum-based businessman was abducted forty days ago and after collecting N100milion, the abductors are demanding N100million.
According to him, the family is concern that the kidnappers have stopped communicating with them after asking for the additional sum.
Apex News gathered that family and friends of the businessman are confused whether Alhaji Mayo is dead or alive.
Mallam Takum pointed out that the abduction seems to be beyond mere kidnapping and other motives might be behind it.
