Council polls: Monday Tsoho declares intention to vie for Chairman, Jaba Local Government Council

As the Kaduna State Local Government council election approaches, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart, Hon. Monday Dauda Tsoho, has declared his intention of vieng for the seat of Chairman, Jaba Local Government Council.
Addressing Party Executives, Members of his Family, Friends and his electorates at the Party’s Ward office in Daddu, Monday stated that what informed his decision to vie for the seat of Chairman Jaba Local Government was out of passion as a youth who possessed wealth of experience which he will apply to take the area to greater heights.
The aspirant stressed that he is not going to make promises to the people, but if given the mandate, would ensure that he operates an open door policy, enact new innovations and execute policies and projects that reflect their yearnings and aspirations.
He said, his late father Mr Dauda Tsoho has played his part very well in contributing his quota to the development of Jaba Local Government Kaduna State and the Country in general against which backdrop he said by the will of God, he will do his best to bring rapid and meaningful development to his people.
While confessing that his candidacy is not a do or die affair, and character assassination, he said he is going to play politics of togetherness and success for all, devoid of any rancor or rowdiness.
He commended the Party Executives in the Nation, State, Local Government and the Party faithfuls. While admonishing them to continue to live in peace and harmony, obey the rules of law and all constituted authorities, he told them that they should not relent in giving their unflinching support to PDP so that the Party will win back it’s lost mandate in the coming election.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Party Daddu Ward Honourable Daniel Shehu
expressed joy over the declaration owing to the fact that, Monday is from their ward, and assured him of their support.
Daniel Shehu said, Monday’s father has served the ward and the Local Government very well, and there was need for them to reciprocate the gesture of what his father has contributed to them, by giving their support to his son.
He urged him to play the politics of progress and togetherness, and should go out and canvas for support in all nooks and crannies of the Local Government owing to the fact that, he is not the only one vieing for seat
Earlier while presenting the candidate to the Executives, the Councilor for Takau Ward Jema’a Local Government Honourable Luka Ayuba (Black) said Monday is a credible candidate who has a good name, and a good name is better than riches. adding that Monday’s father’s legacies are speaking for him and if giving the mandate definitely he would not fail.
Honourable Luka observed that the candidates vieng for the seat are many, and if you are not bouyant, you will not be given opportunity to serve, against which backdrop he appealled to the people of Jaba Local Government to shun the politics of giving prioty to wrong people who have money to share, but consider the face of quality leadership and give Monday an opportunity to serve them.
He said Monday is a good product that will not fail them. adding that if Monday is given the opportunity to serve in the next dispensation, they would require him to serve them again and again.
The Councilor however remind them to know that power comes from God owing to the fact that he gives it to whoever he wants at the time he wants and to whoever he wants.
Also speaking at the declaration, Honourable Moses Bode a PDP stalwart and one of the SA’s Media to the Member National Assembly Jema’a/Sanga Right Honourable Nicholas Garba Sarkin Noma stated that Monday Dauda Tsoho has already taken the qualities of his father, and those qualities of good leadership of Monday will be of benefit to his people so, voting him will be for their own benefit.
Bode urged them to support Monday at the ward level, and also carry the message to other wards geared to selling their son to other wards for the benefit of all.
