COVID-19: Adamawa records 2 new cases making 4 in total

The Secretary to the State Government who is the State Chairman COVID-19 Containment Committee has announced that Adamawa State recorded another two cases of coronavirus making a total of four.

The Chairman who stated this during a Press Briefing in the Situation Room, State Secretariat Yola, explained that the new cases are independent to each other and has no link to the other two cases in the state.

This was contained in a statement Friday by Muhammad B. Tukur, Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Governor.

He revealed that this followed after the Committee received report of nine out of the eleven samples sent to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC in which seven were found negative and two showed positive.

The two new cases are one from Hildi, Hong Local Government Area and the other who is a female is in Saminaka, Yola South Local Government Area who is currently at the Isolation Centre and declared that all the four cases are independent of one another.
