Cross River women pledge more supports to Nigeria, state as Nigeria marks 64th independent anniversary

Women in parts of Cross River State have expressed readiness to continue their supports for greater Nigeria and the state. 

President of Ochibe Bayinyi Boki Worldwide, Mrs. Beatrice Etta Nyiam made the pledge in a statement on behalf of her group to mark the 64th anniversary of Nigeria. 

She said Nigeria will continue to be great if all give out their best despite current hardships witnessed in the country. 

She noted that Governor Bassey Otu has re-invented governance and returned the State to its pride of place as leading destination for tourism, business and leisure in Nigeria. 

She called on people of the state to join President Bola Tinubu and Governor Otu in driving the plans to enhance livelihoods.

According to her, Governor Otu’s efforts in repositioning the state is yielding fruits and the people are enjoying the dividends of democracy.
