One of the newly promoted officers being decorated with his new rank
The newly promoted officers of Nigeria security and Civil Defence Corps, Delta State Command who benefited from the 2020 promotion examination exercise have been decorated in line with the directives of the Commandant General (CGC). Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi.
The state Commandant, Chike Ikpeamonwu, while decorating the benefited officers Monday at the conference hall of the state Command headquarters Asaba maintained that more promotions means more responsibility with professionalism.
In a statement to Apex News Exclusive by Sc Eke Onyekachi, CDPRO, Delta Command, the promotion which is seen as a very fair one comparing the number of beneficiaries across ranks and State Commands was celebrated in low key considering the insecurity state of the Nation and the attacks on uniform personnel across the country.
The state Commandant charged the decorated officers to step up to their responsibilities with their current ranks and help themselves, the Corps and the nation to restore peace and security in our country through their selfless service and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
On behalf of the newly decorated officers Deputy Commandant, Theresa N. thanked God, the management of the corps and specially the state Commandant for the promotions and pledged their unalloyed loyalty to Command and the Corps in general. Among the beneficiaries are, personal Assistant to State Commandant, CSC Fabian, Command Arms Commander, SC Chibuike, Divisional Officers of Sapele, SC Richard and Officer incharge of Command Reports, SC Igwe, and others.
