The Director General, Bauchi vigilante, Dr. Umar Shayi has received another remarkable special award from CP Sani Aliyu of Bauchi State Police Command.
The development was disclosed to the media by Agency’s Head of media and communications strategy, Abdullahi Idris in Bauchi.
This great award presentation was another beautiful milestone added to the DG’s remarkable efforts to ensure improved security of lives and properties across the state, the statement revealed
CP Sani Aliyu, while presenting the award on behalf of the police command urged Dr Shayi to continue with his great efforts in ensuring community policing has come to stay across the state.
The Police Commissioner urged all stakeholders to give the first hand intelligence report to security agencies in their quest for peace,development and prosperity in the society.
Responding, Dr Shayi dedicated the award to the service of humanity, peace and development initiatives which are hallmark of societal productivity and sustainability, said Dr Shayi
In conclusion, Dr. umar appreciates all conventional and non conventional security agencies for more effective collaboration and commitment in accordance with the law and order of the federal Republic of Nigeria.
He however ,commended Governor Bala Mohammad for well done job in all fronts of state development.
Recall, Dr Shayi is presently the Permanent Secretary designate in the agency and who doubles as Chairman special constabulary Police Bauchi state command and coupled with his position as ACG operations of Nigeria Hunters and Forestry Security Service.
