The Vice Chairman of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, Aondofa Tama has said he should not be judged by the performance of the club, in the last season but the next season.
Tama who said this to sports writers Tuesday, after he was presented with the award of excellence, for repositioning Lobi Stars FC, particularly the youths who were a difficult set of people to handle, in the shortest period that he came to the club, as vice chairman, by the Northern Youth Parliament in his office in Makurdi, explained that he took over Lobi Stars mid – season, when they were twelfth position on the NPFL log and they ended eighth position.
He stated that they were almost done with recruiting players and that people should judge if they did well and not for them to say it.
The vice chairman who was appreciative of the group for finding him worthy of the award, said he did not know that he deserved it but since they found him worthy of it, he was grateful and honored.
