Dr. Ahmed II elected pioneer President of newly inaugurated

The African University Registrars Association (AURA) was officially formed and inaugurated last week at KCA University, marking a significant milestone in continental collaboration among university registrars.

In a unanimous decision, Dr. Bala Isyaka Ahmed II, Registrar of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), emerged as the pioneer president of the newly established association.

According to Information and Protocol Unit, Nasarawa State University, Keffi Dr. Ahmed II, also serves as Chairman of the Association of Registrars of Nigerian Universities (ARNU). It is expected he will bring extensive experience in university administration to the continental leadership role.

His election is regarded as a major achievement for NSUK and a notable recognition of Nigeria’s contributions to higher education management across Africa.
