Eid- el-Kabir: Former NASENI CEO harps on support for humanity, youths development

Prof. Mohammed Haruna, the immediate past Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure has underscored the need to love one another and support humanity particularly the youths.

Prof. Haruna said this in an interview with newsmen in Keffi local government area of Nasarawa State.

Prof. Haruna harped on capacity building of Nigerian youths, noting that they are the future of the Nation.

“Youths are the ones that will carry the burden of the next generation, so, whoever has an opportunity and is able to assist youths and build their capacities, definitely they working for a greater Nigeria and greater humanity,” he said.

According to him, what lives after people is not how much wealth their have amassed or what their consumed with their families but their good deeds, which is support for humanity, love and motivation for one another.

The former NASENI Chief Executive said further that the only asset to be considered worthwhile and enduring, was how much one was able to put in the life of other people to better their lives and the progress of humanity.

“We are grateful to Almighty for being alive and healthy to witness Sallah celebration, now what is important is, as God so loves us and grants us this favour, it means we should also love, support, motivate each other.

“Also remind ourselves that life is too short, no one should have time to waste in quarrelling or envy one another instead of supporting humanity for the progress of everyone.

“What is our assets is how much you are able to put in the life of other people but not what you consumed, what lives after us is our deeds, which is our support for humanity particularly capacity building for the youths,” he said.
