Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri has enjoyed Muslims to share thier acquired God-given wealth with the less-privileged for peace to reign with one another as being enshrined in the tenets of Islamic faith.
He made the call while felicitating with the Muslim Ummah on the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wunosikou in Yola, the state capital.
The Governor enjoins Muslims to remember that the season is one to give thanks to Almighty Allah for sparing their lives as individuals and families to celebrate.
According to the Governor, Eid-El-Kabir teaches and reminds of the meaning of sacrifice, love and forbearance with one another.
It stated that the significance of the celebration is rooted in peaceful co-existence, mutual respect and tolerance.
