Emir of Keffi, Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa III

The Emir of Keffi in Nasarawa State, Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa III has disclosed that the people of his domain wouldn’t tolerate and hide criminals, but expose them.
He made the statement in his Sallah message after Eid Prayer in the Emirate.
According to him, “I am calling on the people of Keffi in particular and Nigerians in general to expose criminal elements and their hideouts to the relevant Authority.
“I am confirming to Nigerians that an escapee inmate of the recently attacked Kuje custodial center has been exposed and arrested in Sabo Gari ward of Keffi local government area in Nasarawa State.
“My good people informed us, we invited the security agency and arrested him.” He said.
The Emir of Keffi thanks l his people and enjoined them to be law abiding, tolerate one another and embrace and preach peaceful coexistence growth and the development.
Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa III called on Nigerian youth to shun crime and violence and avoid open confrontation with the authority that would lead them to waste precious time in custodial centres.
He said that the youth should understand that when they seek for knowledge, they can hold many positions both within and at international levels.
The Emir who is a farmer similarly call on the youth to take up farming as a means of being self-employed, grow and be employers of labour.
He said that it is timely for parents and guardians to enroll their children and wards in schools and to also ensure that they learn handskill for they not to be nuisance to themselves and the society.
