The Chairman Elkanemi Warriors FC of Maiduguri, Alhaji Sheriff Bukar has described the recently concluded tour of Zaria, Kano and Potiskum as a huge success for 2022 preseason.
The Chairman commended the players and Technical crew over the skills and experience exhibited throughout the tour.
Alhaji Sheriff recalled their performance in the last Ahlan Cup competition in Kano where the Warriors came third out of 15 teams that includes NPFL teams. According to him, the players reinacted the form in their last preseason to convince us of their readiness for the up coming season scheduled to kick start on 11 February, 2022.
The Chairman assured the players and technical officials that the board and management will always be by their side to provide them with all necessary requirements.
On his part, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors FC, Coach Hassan Abubakar said he was out there to test his players. Win, draw or defeat wasn’t our priority in the tour but only to test our players and know their strength and area that needs more efforts.
“We thank Allah for a successful tour having 2 wins and 2 draws out of 4 matches.”
He called for the support and prayers of all towards achieving the set goals of Elkanemi Warriors.
