El-Kanemi Warriors FC chairman, coach urge prayers from supporters

The Chairman and coach of Elkanemi Warriors have in separate interviews appealed to supporters and fans of the Borno darling team to pray for the club’s victory in Sunday’s match against EFCC Football Club of Abuja .
Speaking after their last training in Maiduguri the Chairman Alhaji Sheriff Bukar thanked the Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum for providing all the needs of the club, pointing out that government has given us everything.

It is now pay back time for the team to perform by winning their match on Sunday.

On the closed door issue, he called for prayers and understanding of the general public for our success as this situation is a temporary one that will come to be history.

The chairman added that “we are law abiding people and that we have to observe all the laid down protocols”.
On the state of preparedness of his team, Alhaji Sheriff said Elkanemi will present a discipline team that will make us proud in Sundays match.

He expressed confidence in the crop players assembled for Elkanemi this season.
The Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors, Coach Babaganaru expressed delight with the response of players from his trainings and that his side is physically and psychologically ready to deliver in Sundays match.

He equally expressed satisfaction with the development of our football officiating in Nigeria which he said, that way our leagues will be amoung the best in the world.

“The must win at home syndrome is fast vanishing in Nigeria” he concluded.
Coach Babaganaru who showered encomiums on Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for giving them before they ask and the club chairman Alhaji Sheriff who is always with them in their training sessions.

He observed that with the caliber of players in his squad the team will give us a cause to smile home victorious.
Elkanemi Warriors team Captain, Lucky Erimuya on his part said they have prepared very well with hard trainings.

The team is ready to go as they are focused to win Sunday’s match against EFCC FC Abuja. They will give 100% of their know how to carry the day and make their fans happy even with closed doors while supporters and fans are at home.
