The last has not been heard about the friction between Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and Senator Shehu Sani over political supremacy in the state.
Even as the All Progressives Congress (APC) has granted the Senator an automatic ticket to recontest, the governor said it will not stand.
El-Rufa’i spoke on Friday in Abuja after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
He told State House correspondents that the automatic ticket granted Senator Sani was a recipe for APC to lose the Kaduna Central Senatorial District seat.
The National Working Committee (NWC) cleared Sani and disqualified Uba Sani who is El-Rufa’i’s preferred candidate.
