Emir of Bauchi, Dr Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu welcomes Pastor Enoch Adeboye (left) to his Palace

Relevant religious organization in Nigeria have been assured of a ready support towards peace making process in the country at large and Bauchi State in particular.
The assurance was given by the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr). Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu while speaking during a visit to his Palace by the State leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
The Emir stressed that his Council is ever read to give support for any process that will further strengthen the peace and peaceful co-existence among the people of the state.
The visit by the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) under the Chairman, Rev. Abraham Dimues was at the palace to introduce the General Overseer of RCCG, Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye who was in Bauchi for a mega Crusade tagged ‘Light Up Bauchi’.
The Emir applauded the CAN leadership qualities towards preaching peace to the people across the country a development he said has further entrenched peace, unity and peaceful co-existence among the people.
Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu however commended the State CAN leadership as well as the entire Christian Community for their cordial relationship with other people across the state.
The Emir who is the Chairman, Bauchi State Council of Traditional Rulers also expressed his appreciation for the decision to choose Bauchi State as the next venue to conduct the prayer session in the crusade tagged ‘Light up Bauchi’.
The Royal Father therefore prayed for the success of the programme throughout the stay urging them to enjoy their stay and savour the rich hospitality posture of the people of the state.
Earlier in his remarks. the General Overseer of RCCG Worldwide, Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye said that the visit was to seek for the Emirs Royal blessings for the success of the crusade.
He also said that it was to offer a special prayer for the Emir as father of all and the entire Emirate Council members for them to succeed while discharging their God given traditional duties.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye expressed joy the way the entourage was well received with love and affection by the people of the state and the Emirate Council in particular saying that it gladden his heart to be at the palace.
The renowned Christian Clergyman took to time pray for good health for the Emir, his family and council members as well as the entire people of the state.
Earlier on his part, the State CAN Chairman, Rev. Abraham Dimues had said that they were at the palace to introduce the General Overseer of RCCG Pastor Enoch A. Adebayo and other Servants of God to the Emir and also to intimate him on the prayer session as well as to invite the Emir to attend the programme.
