The Emir of Kano, His Royal Majesty Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayaro has agreed to commission nine out of 12 projects Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has accomplished.
Commissioner for information and orientation in the State, Eric Anderson said while they expect his arrival in the state soon, the governor has already commissioned others, including the ultra modern Teachers’ Continuous Training Institute (TCTI) located at Biase local government area
Upon arrival Friday morning, the Emir of Kano will commission the Dual Carriage way from Tinapa Junction to Odukpani Junction, the Phase one Super Highway, the Spaghetti Flyover, the 27MW Power Plant in Adiabo, 23 MW Power Plant, on Parliamentary Extension, Calabar, and the Obudu German Hospital, Obudu.
While still in the northern Cross River, the Kano monarch will further commission the Ogoja Vitamined Rice Mill, the Tookpick Factory in Ekori community in Yakurr LGA as well as the 120,000 bird ultra modern Poultry when be returned to Calabar.
To assist the Kano monarch, chairman of the state Traditional Rulers’ Council, His Royal Majesty Etinyin Etim Okon Edet will handle the commissioning of the Feed mill, a 24,000 birds per day poultry factory (Calachika) and a BPOO Bagging and Packaging Factory, all three located in the Ayade Industrial Park.
