Emir of Muri pays Sallah homage, presents kola to Taraba Governor Kefas

The Emir of Muri, Alhaji Abbas Njiddah Tafida and members of the Muri Emirate Council have paid Sallah homage on the Governor of Taraba State Dr Agbu Kefas on Monday June 17, 2024.
Receiving the delegation at Government House, Jalingo, Dr Kefas, assured the Emir and his entourage as well as the good people of Taraba State of his determination to serve them diligently, reaffirming his commitments to give them whatever belongs to them.
He solicited collaboration and feedback from the Emir and and people of the Emirate to enable him serve them better and make Jalingo the State capital attractive and safe for businesses.
Earlier, the Emir of Muri, Alhaji Tafida described the Sallah celebration as his best as he is witnessing the good intentions and impactful leadership qualities of the Governor Dr. Kefas.
The Emir said tribe and religion are from God which must be used to unite the people and in serving the State but not as means of divisions and assured the Governor of the support and cooperation of the Muri Emirate Council to move the State forward.
Highlights of the visit was presentation of kola nuts to the Governor by the Emir and vise- visa.

The Sallah homage was witnessed by the State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali, Senator Haruna Manu representing Taraba Central Senatorial District, former Acting Governor, Alhaji Sani Abubakar Danladi, Speaker Taraba State House of Assembly John Kizito Bonzena and other top Government functionaries.
