The Emir of Wase, (Sarkin Dutse), in Plateau State, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr), Muhammadu Sambo Haruna, is to formally turban Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim Baruga as the Jarman Wase.
The event will take place at the Emir’s Palace, Wase, on Sunday 5th January, 2025 at 11am.
Baruga, a youth and grassroots mobiliser, was the Plateau State governorship candidate of the Boot Party in the 2023 election.
In a telephone interview with Apex News Exclusive on Saturday, Baruga expressed gratitude to the Emir of Wase for the honour done to him pledging to do more within his power to uplift the well being of the people.
