EMMANUEL ODO, ACTING SENATE CLERK ALLEGED FALSIFICATION OF AGE SAGA: TIME FOR THE LAW TO TAKE ITS CAUSE

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

There is little time to waste, if the credibility, proficiency and efficacy of our law enforcement agencies e.g. the Police, EFCC, lCPC etc are to be maintained and sustained in the face of dastardly allegations of age falsification, forgery of official documents, lying under oath and aggravated perjury levelled against a senior management staff of the hallowed National Assembly, Mr Emmanuel Odo, Acting Clerk of the Senate.
The law enforcement agencies who it is their primary duty to apply the law and sanction offenders should not be seen to be condoning blatant forgery and falsification of documents by anyone no matter how highly placed and the said Mr Emmanuel Odo is no exception.
A swift and thorough investigation of the Emmanuel Odo saga will go a long way towards restoring trust and confidence in the integrity of our national institutions most especially our anti-graft agencies.
Thus, as the petitioners against Mr Emmanuel Odo’s alleged malfeasance await justice and the rule of law, the law enforcement agencies should leave no stone unturned in unravelling the veracity or otherwise of the consequential allegations and mounting petitions against the Acting Senate Clerk.
The National Assembly as the nation’s apex legislative institution should be above board in all its activities and operations and to elevate an alleged perjurer and falsifier of official documents to a top position is a gross negation of the law and a serious contravention of relevant public service rules thus amounting to criminal complicity and felonious conspiracy in all its nefarious manifestations.
Enough of the rigmarole, shenanigans and procrastinations, Emmanuel Odo’s falsification of age saga should be thoroughly investigated and anyone found culpable should be brought to book and be sanctioned accordingly.
Time and tide wait for no one.
