Excitement as Igbo man makes lists of Governor Kefas 746 new appointees in Taraba

The Igbo community in Taraba State have expressed excitement over inclusion of their kinsman in Governor Agbu Kefas appointees.

Speaking shortly after the swearing-in ceremony, Igbo youths, continued to express joy as Chief Uche Obi was among the lists of 746 governor’s aides.

According to them, the choice of Chief Obi, a vibrant peace-loving Igbo man into governor’s administration demonstrated Governor Kefas’ readiness for all inclusive governance devoid of party affiliation, tribe and religion and assured that Igbos in Taraba will continue to support the present administration.

Speaking on his appointment, Chief Obi appreciated Governor Kefas for the gesture, stressing that the appointment took him unawares.

According to him, the new elevation will encourage him to impact more in the state as much is given, much is also expected of him.

The Anambra-born business guru who was among the 746 new governor’s aides is a special adviser on building material and has remained a successful business man in the state whose generosity cut across all nooks and crannies in Nigeria with particular attention to orphans, widows, less privileged, the aged and sick persons among others.
