Excitement as Mbalewe Dynasty mounts throne again

The Mbalewe Dynasty of Umuaghara, Uvuru Ancient Kingdom in Aboh-Mbaise LGA of Imo State, with happiness and deep joy, thanks God Almighty for bringing the dynasty back to limelight and prominence following the unanimous decision of the community to crown one of our own, Eze Sir Iheanacho Chinyereze Mbalewe, as the Eze and traditional ruler of Uvuru Ancient Kingdom.
It will be recalled that in 2006, the throne was relinquished to another village following the death of our patriarch, His Imperial Majesty, Eze R. U. Mbalewe (Ezeoha I). Nineteen years later, in 2022, the community unanimously elected Eze Sir Iheanacho Chinyereze Mbalewe to succeed the late Eze Fidelis Elugwaraonu (Ezeoha II) following his demise. In March 2025, the Government of Imo State officially recognized Eze Sir Iheanacho Chinyereze Mbalewe as the traditional ruler of Uvuru Community and presented him with the Certificate of Recognition and Staff of Office.
Based on this historic development, Uvuru Ancient Kingdom has set aside 27th December as the day to officially install Eze Sir Iheanacho Chinyereze Mbalewe to mount the throne of Uvuru Ancient Kingdom as Ezeoha III.
The Mbalewe Dynasty therefore sincerely thanks the entire Uvuru Community for finding our son and brother worthy of the revered crown and throne of Ezeoha III.
I, John Mbalewe, Secretary to the Dynasty, alongside my wife, Mrs. Doreen Mbalewe, my children, and on behalf of the entire Mbalewe Dynasty, heartily felicitate with His Imperial Majesty, Eze Sir Iheanacho Chinyereze Mbalewe. We celebrate his accomplishments with immense pride while acknowledging the depth of his impact on our people and beyond. His leadership has illuminated the path for others to follow.
John Mbalewe described him as a traditional ruler par excellence and a proven, dependable development partner to the Uvuru Community. He encouraged His Imperial Majesty to continue as a royal father who will bring sustained and incremental progress to Uvuru and beyond.
In the same vein, John Mbalewe congratulated Emmanuel Nwabueze Mbalewe, another prominent son of the dynasty, who is to be conferred with the Nze title by His Imperial Majesty.
Nze Emma Mbalewe is a retired public servant who served meritoriously at Nigeria LNG (NLNG) and has contributed immensely to the development of the Uvuru Community.
The statement further eulogized a princess of the dynasty who is to be conferred with a prestigious chieftaincy title by the monarch. Chief Mrs. Uloma Ezinna Nwogu (née Mbalewe) has distinguished herself as a philanthropist with exemplary passion. She can aptly be described as a fish without a hiding place, whose milk of kindness and humanity flows like the biblical well that never runs dry. Her commitment to excellence continues to inspire us all.
The chieftaincy title bestowed on Chief Mrs. Uloma Ezinna Nwogu is a fitting recognition of her legacy as an icon of humility and the pride of the Mbalewe Dynasty. Her passion, dedication, and hard work have truly paid off, and we are honoured to stand by her as she celebrates this inspiring success.
We are immensely proud of His Imperial Majesty, Eze Sir Iheanacho Mbalewe, Nze Emma Mbalewe, and our princess, Chief Mrs. Uloma Ezinna Nwogu, as these installations and conferments are eloquent testimonies to the giant strides you have all achieved. May your reign be long and prosperous, Mbalewe concluded.
