To His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iornem Alia, and the good people of Benue State,
I, Hon. Michael Uper, Executive Secretary, Benue State Sports Marketing and Lottery Board (BSSLB), has on behalf of the management and staff of the board extend warmest felicitations to you on the 49th Anniversary Celebration of Benue State.
As we mark this significant milestone, we reflect on the tremendous progress Benue State has made since its creation in 1976. Your visionary leadership has been instrumental in transforming various sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, transportation, agriculture, sports, digital infrastructure, and worker welfare.
Your outstanding achievements in less than two years in office are a testament to your unwavering commitment to the development of Benue State. Your efforts have earned Benue a prestigious position amongst the developed states in Nigeria.
As the Benue State Sports Marketing and Lottery Board, we are committed to supporting your administration’s efforts to develop the state. We are working tirelessly to add value to your developmental agenda, and we are confident that our collective efforts will yield positive results.

As we celebrate this milestone, we pray that God Almighty grants you the strength, wisdom, and resources to continue your exemplary work for the betterment of Benue State and its people.
We quote the Holy Scriptures, which says: “Except the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain that build it.” (Psalm 127:1). May God continue to guide and direct you as you steer the affairs of Benue State.
