Faithspiration Initiative, a non-profit and non-governmental organization, has extended financial assistance of ₦850,000 to one of its members, Mr. Ifeanyi Azubuike, who was recently involved in a serious motor accident.

Mr. Azubuike, the only survivor of the crash that occurred in Igbariam, Anambra State, is currently receiving treatment at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Awka, formerly known as Amaku Teaching Hospital.

In a video message, the founder and spiritual director of the Group, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. George Adimike, explained that Mr. Azubuike was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after the accident.

He said the organization immediately shared details of the incident with members and sought support to aid his recovery.

According to Fr. Adimike, members and supporters responded with overwhelming generosity, contributing a total of ₦866,000. A delegation from the Group visited the hospital to pray for the victim, show solidarity, and present the financial assistance.

“We encouraged him and prayed with him. He was very cheerful despite the situation. We handed him ₦850,000, while the remaining ₦16,000 was used to support transportation for the twelve members who traveled from Onitsha. He was very grateful and prayed for God’s blessings upon everyone,” Fr. Adimike stated.

Fr. Adimike, who serves as a Catholic Priest of the Archdiocese of Onitsha, expressed deep appreciation to all contributors. He offered special thanks to Chief Dubem Obaze and his wife, Dr. Pamela Obaze.

Chief Obaze donated ₦300,000 shortly after the accident, emphasizing that financial challenges should not prevent Mr. Azubuike from receiving quality medical care. He also pledged continued support if further assistance became necessary.

“We thank Chief Dubem Obaze and his family, as well as all donors. Almost all our members contributed. Over the past two weeks, many have been visiting, praying with him, and keeping him company. Today, we came for the formal presentation. May God bless you all,” Fr. Adimike added.
