Fashe gets second term as Adamawa NLC chairman

Adamawa NLC chairman, Comrade Emmanuel Fashe

The Adamawa State chapter of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has re-elected Comrade Emmanuel Fashe to serve the union for another second term.

The returning officer declared Mr Ibrahim Walama Fashe elected during the 13th Quadrennial delegate conference of NLC Adamawa council in Yola.

Walama noted that, Fashe was re-elected on consensus and lauded the union leaders for their unity and understanding.
He called on others to emulate Adamawa NLC.

His words, “I must confess that the union leaders in Adamawa made me praud because they were able to resolve whatever difference and interest to come and present one single lineup”.

Our correspomdent reports that the other executives elected along side are Usman Babbada, Vice Chairman I, Mahmud Mohammed, Vice Chairman II, Shehu Sa’ad, Auditor I, Abdulkarim Buba, Auditor II.

Others are Umar Jera, Treasurer; Lami Aminu and Felix Sanda as ex-officio.

In his acceptance speech, Fashe appreciated the delegates and assured much more justice for their confident reposed on them.

The newly reelected chairman said, the experience gathered in the last four years will enable him to do well in the next four years to see that workers in Adamawa smile.
