A lecturer with the Federal College of Education (FCE) Kano, Ms Godiya Gaya, on 15th November, 2022, won N1 million voucher from Tecno, a Chinese mobile phone manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China.
Gaya who resides in Kano said the win came to her as a total surprise.
She said: “I went to one of Tecno’s exclusive stores (Mamza Brothers at Beirut road) here to get a phone, I’ve always wanted the camon series.
“There, I got to know there is a discount on it, plus a possibility of winning something.
“I got the phone, camon 20, and was given three scratch cards to pick one from. I picked and scratched, voila! It was a 1 million naira shopping voucher.”
The lecturer said after winning, she was asked to pick anything she wanted from shoprite.
Gaya said: “I picked goods worth 1 million. It was a pleasant surprise.
I am grateful for the win.”
