Former APC National Chairman, Senator Adamu, Senator Wadada, Rep. Umaru, others extol Governor Sule’s developmental strides

A former National Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC),Sen. Abdullahi Adamu and other stakeholders have extolled developmental strides of Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State in the last four years.
They gave the commendation on Saturday in Lafia at a book launch written by Alhaji Abdullahi Tanimu to assess the administration of Governor Sule from inception till date.
Adamu who was the first civilian governor of Nasarawa State, said Governor Sule had consolidated and improved on the achievements of his predecessors in the areas of good governance and infrastructural development.
He added that they are really proud of the governor and said that it is only right to continue to pray and support him as critical stakeholders in the state.
Adamu called on critical stakeholders and the good people of the state to support the governor to succeed in the overall interest of the development of the state.
Also speaking, Senator Aliyu Wadada commended the governor for attracting investors such as Dangote, Flour Mill, Axman Rice among others companies to the state.
He stated that by the time the companies that the governor attracted to the state begin full operational, they would offer employment to thousands of people and boost the revenue of the state.
He applauded Sule for constructing and renovating several schools as well as construction of modern and neighbourhood markets, roads, bus terminals among others.
Wadada who is the Senate committee Chairman on Public Account added that there was no sector that has not received attention in the administration of governor Sule.
He therefore, called on the people of the state to support the governor to succeed irrespective of their religion, tribal and political affiliations.
Wadada also commended the author of the book for taken the pain to document the achievements of the governor and expressed optimism that it would be resourceful to researchers and students alike.
On his part, Rep. Jeremiah Umaru, lauded the author for documenting the developmental strides of Governor Sule for posterity, noting that it would enable people to know about the achievements of his administration in other places other than their communities.
Umaru also commended Gov. Sule for executing people oriented projects including the construction Farin Ruwa road in Wamba Local Government Area.
In his remarks, Governor Abdullahi Sule lauded the author for recognising his effort in developing the state and making it conducive and viable for investors to invest.
Sule revealed that the government has concluded plans to construct 15 kilometers road in each of the 13 local government areas of the state.
The governor also disclosed that the government had paid the counterpart funds for 2023 to Universal Basic Education Commission and over 140 schools would be constructed soonest under the arrangement.
He, therefore promised to embark on more projects that would have direct bearing in the lives of the people and also train and retrain the workforce for optimal performance.
Responding, the author, Tanimu said he was motivated to write the book because of the inclusivity leadership style of the governor.
The author who is physically challenged, said the governor had done a lot as he went round the state to get first hand information and took pictures as well as interacting with communities where the projects were sited.
The 230 pages book with 23 chapters entitled ‘Progressive Governance’ was reviewed by Prof. George Genyi of Political Science Department, Federal University of Lafia.
