Former IGP floats Foundation to promote justice, education of deceased Police officers’ children

Former IGP Dr. Solomon Arase

A former Inspector General of Police, Dr. Solomon Arase and past Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) in Nigeria has established a Foundation in his name.
The Foundation is majorly to enhance the living standards of children and support the families of deceased police officers and promote justice through Alternative Dispute Resolution.
The Solomon Ehigiator Erase Foundation, SEAF, has an Expanded Scholarship Programme which ensures that children of deceased police officers pursue their educational aspirations hitchfree.
It has also organised Annual Lectures, which focuses on Alternative Dispute Resolution, and promotes effective conflict resolution, reinforcing its role as a catalyst for change.
Speaking about the former Inspector General of Police and his philanthropic and humanitarian works in Nigeria and Africa as a whole, Mr John Francis, the Executive Director of HOPe Africa, an NGO based in USA said, “The Solomon Ehigiator Arase Foundation (SEAF) stands as a beacon of hope, empowerment, and excellence, driven by the unparalleled dedication of Dr. Arase.
He said that Dr. Arase has consistently demonstrated exemplary service in the fields of security and humanitarian aid in Nigeria.
“Dr Arase is renowned for his holistic approach to humanitarian services and his steadfast dedication to security. His tenure as Inspector-General of Police brought transformative changes and development to the Nigerian Police Force. Beyond his official roles, Dr. Arase’s work through SEAF has made significant impacts, particularly in children’s education, justice through alternative disputes resolution, empowerment.

Recognizing his significant contributions and unwavering commitment, he recommended that Arase be recognized with appointment in any leading international organizations, to enable him expand his frontiers to many more vulnerable children.
