Former Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, General Buratai enjoins newly wed couple to plan for future

Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (rtd) has enjoined all newly wed couples to plan for their life, children and the future in peace devoid of rancour.
The former Chief of Army Staff made the call at the wedding prayer between Lieutenant Fahad Bello Tukur and Hajiya Anisah MS Aliyu, daughter of Major General MS Aliyu (retired) at Mambila Barracks Mosque, Maitama, Abuja on Saturday.
According to him, “I am calling on all newly wed and those that are about to marry to understand each other and plan for the numerous challenges in later in life.
“We thank the Almighty for witnessing this wedding, the groom, Anisah MS Aliyu is well educated both in Western and Islamic education and is trustworthy.
“Considering her background, she is well prepared to conduct her matrimonial duty and take care of her husband, family and children in the future.
“In the Army, we are family, even if we are not directly related, we understand and trust each other.
“I am happy and honoured to be part of this wedding”, General Buratai said.
The wedding fatiha was attended by many dignitaries, amongst them are former Minister of Defence, General Mannir Dan Ali, Senator Kabir Marafa, Colonel Abdu Kuduma Aliyu (retired), Army, Navy, Air Force officers, traditional titles holders and well wishers.
