A former Senior Special Assistant to the Benue State Governor on public Utility, Gadafi Asemanya has condemned the attitude of youths who burn tyres on tarred roads within the township in the name of celebrating Christmas.
Mr Asemanya who made the condemnation while speaking to Harvest FM in Makurdi, monitored by Apex News Exclusive described the act by some youths that burnt tyres on Iorkyakor Street, Commasie, Gboko, and George Akume roads on the eve of Christmas as saboteurs who do not mean well for the state.
He enjoined them to look for an acceptable means of celebration rather than destroy critical infrastructure meant to serve the people and future generations.
He advised parents to always cautioned their children on the need to protect public infrastructure to serve the people better.
