Free runway, entry, stalls, tasty Jollof rice part of innovations for Abuja International Trade Fair

The 18th Abuja International Trade Fair would feature new innovations for people to take advantage of to invest and synergize.
These include a special free 40 foot runway for fashion designers to showcase their services and talents.
Besides, those who have made inroads in the fashion industry would give insights for upcoming fashion startups and enthusiats.
The President, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (ACCI), Dr. Al-Mujtaba Abubakar made these know at a press conference in Abuja Wednesday ahead of the trade fair holding from September 28 – October 9, 2023.
He was represented at the press conference by the Director-General of the Chamber, Dr. Victoria Akai.
Dr. Abubakar stated that 25 stalls would be given to some minor businesses for free to encourage their trades.
The President also said there won’t be gate fee into the trade fair venue to encourage many people to attend.
The trade fair would also feature 12 days of free Jollof rice tasting within a specific time of the day to sample the delicacy.

Dr. Abubakar also said the fair would feature a special designated and curated diplomatic space for foreign representations, trade missions and international organisations to present their businesses, economic cooperation projects as well as featured products and technologies.
Sideline events of the fair include; business networking, B2B, B2G, B2C, special days, raffle draws, virtual and physical games.
