Gambar Zugum residents in Bauchi’s Bogoro local government say their lives in danger over collapsed bridge

Residents of Gambar Zugum community in Bogoro LGA Bauchi State have appealed to the state and local government to come to their aid by rescuing their community from being cut off from other communities in the state.
The SOS was sent through Mr. Emmanuel Barnabas and Mr. Yohana Zachariah who spoke on behalf of the community appealing for the intervention of the relevant agencies to save the community from loosing their members as the raining season set in.
They stated that heavy rainfall that lasted for hours on Sunday night led to the collapse of the only bridge that link them with other communities just as  their farms were completely washed away instilling fears of hunger in them.
The duo of Emmanuel and Yohana called for immediate response from the state and local governments to avoid loss of lives and properties in the area as well as impending danger of hunger.
They also disclosed that residents of the area cannot to go to their farms and carry out their normal economic activities because of the development.
The bridge which link Damabr, Saran Kasa. Saran Bisa, Lere among other communities is very significant to human and social activities of the people.
