As the number one custodian of the peoples culture on the Plateau State, the Gbong Gwom Jos, His Majesty, Da Jacob Gyang Buba celebrates his 71st birthday, the Plateau Our Heritage Revival Initiative (POHri) said his contributions towards peace remain indelible.
The POHri in a congratulatory message added that the Gbong Gwom who is also the Chairman of the Plateau State Joint Traditional Council, is commended for his significant impact and contributions to peace, unity and growth of Plateau State; which remains unequal, it stressed.
It said in a signed message by its Chairman, Hon. Alex Kwapnoe and Secretary, Comrade Friday Bako that the prominent Royal Father has equally paid his dues to nation building haven’t served as a one time Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs and Excise.
“In the same vein, POHri lauded the conferment on the Royal Father with the National Honour Award of the Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR)” by President Muhammadu Buhari as a welcome development.
According to it, the award “is well deserved considering the diligent service the royal Father has rendered to the Nation as former Comptroller General of Customs and his immense contributions towards Nation building.
“While congratulating the royal Father on the dual feats, POHri prays God to grant him long life and sound health” to continue with the good works he started.
