General Jibril reviews passing out parade of 358 Correctional Service cadets in Kaduna

General Abdul Malik Jibril, (rtd) has performed the role of reviewing Officer for the passing out parade of 358 cadets of the Nigeria Correctional Service, (NCS).
He review was at the event of the 32nd Assistant Superintendent of Corrections (ASC) Basic Course in NCS Staff College, Barnawa, Kaduna.
General Jibril, who is the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), represented the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
According to him, “The Honourable Minister lauded the initiative as a forward-thinking step towards correctional reforms and effective rehabilitation.”
The Controller General of Corrections, Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche, said the graduation came at a time when reforms and innovations were central to the service’s mandate under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
“I urge you to familiarise yourselves with the relevant laws and standing orders guiding your duties,” he said.
