Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State

The Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Dan Majen Gombe) has approved activities to signpost and mark the state’s 25th year anniversary since creation and Nigeria’s 61st independence celebrations.
The approved line-up of activities to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Gombe State indicates that there will be a special anniversary parade tomorrow, Friday, 1st October, 2021 by 9:30am at the Pantami Stadium, during which His Excellency is expected to deliver his Independence Day/ 25th year anniversary broadcast.
There will also be a special Juma’at Prayer same day at Jumma’at Mosques across the state.
The Silver Jubilee will also be marked with a grand display of fireworks by 10:PM where His Excellency will lead dignitaries and other citizens of the state to observe a pyrokinetic show in the night of 1st October in Gombe.
The events will be rounded up with special church service across the state and a special inter-denominational service at the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN centre, Gombe as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General, (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
