Gombe PDP chieftain, Hon. Mailantarki congratulates new north east zonal chairman, others on election

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State, Hon. Khamisu Mailantarki has congratulated newly elected officials of the party in the north-east.

The election was held on Saturday during its zonal congress at the Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu Square, Government House, Bauchi, where Hon. Mailantarki was physically present.

In a statement in Abuja, Hon. Mailantarki congratulated Alhaji Babangida Modibbo Umar, from Adamawa State, who emerged as the newly elected Zonal Chairman.

Hon. Mailantarki also applauded Alhaji Umar and other officials on their well-deserved elections urging them to put the party first in their actions and has no doubt that they will serve with excellence.

In the statement, the former Member of the House of Representatives, also specifically congratulated officers from Gombe State that were elected as north east zonal officers.

They are Hon. Jalo G. Ahmed, Auditor, Hon. Zainab A. Julde, Woman Leader, Hon. Maryam Simon, Zonal Ex-Officio and Hon. Joel Adamu, National Zonal Ex-Officio.

Hon. Mailantarki wished them success as you take on their new roles and make positive impacts.
