Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi and Mai Kaltungo Engineer Saleh Mohammed on Saturday joined Muslim faithful across the world to observe the two ra’akat prayers to mark this year’s Eid El kabir celebration at the Kaltungo Eid ground.
Addressing the congregation of worshipers at his Palace shortly after the Eid prayers, the Mai Kaltungo Engineer Saleh Mohammed appreciated the people for their cooperation and support to security operatives in their quest to ensure peace and security in the Chiefdom.
Saleh Mohammed further enjoined them not to relent or hesitate in providing useful information about suspicious people and their movements to relevant authorities as their contribution assisted greatly in the attainment of peaceful coexistence in the Chiefdom.
He also prayed Allah to accept all worship and supplications of the ummah as well as prayed for bumper harvest this cropping season.
The Chief Imam Kaltungo Central mosque, Alhaji Adamu who led the two raka ‘at prayer called on Muslim faithful to preach peace and practice good neighborliness.
In his Sallah message released to media, the Secretary to the State government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi while congratulating Muslim Ummah and indeed the entire people of the State for witnessing another Eid El Kabir charged citizens of voting age to ensure registering and obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards PVCs.
Professor Njodi noted that as critical stakeholders in the electoral process it is imperative for them to get their voter’s card to enable them vote in credible leaders for the good of the State and country in coming 2023 general elections as contained in a statement by Joshua Danmalam information officer SSG’S Office.
