Governor Fintiri assures of commitment to better lives for Adamawa residents

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has reassured the citizenry that the present administration will not relent in the spread of even development across the nooks and crannies of the state.

He stated this when he received in audience the Hoba Elders Forum from Hong Local Government Area on a courtesy call in the Government House, Yola Tuesday.

The Governor said government will continue to operate vigorously within the confines of the law and improve education, rural development and agriculture among others.

He revealed that in the last three months, the rate of insecurity in the state has reduced drastically and called on the community leaders and people in general to advise government on security matters.

He told the visiting delegation that his administration has started construction of roads in three communities in Hong local government and assured them that he will look into other requests tabled by the body.

Governor Fintiri stressed that his administration will ensure that all Adamawa qualified candidates get admission into the state university Mubi before any other from other states.

He thanked the delegation for the visit, prayers and support being given to his administration and assured of continuity of development to the state within the limited available resources.

In his remark, the leader of the delegation, General Haladu Hananiya explained that the Hoba Elders Forum is a sociocultural group formed to champion the cause of Hoba community culturally and politically among others.

General Hananiya commended the Governor for the developmental strides attained by his administration in the areas of education, security and other human capital developments in the state.

He employed the Governor to establish Police Mobile Squadron at Mararraba Mubi and give incentives to members of vigilante group to enhance security as the place is volatile to security britches.

He further requested the Governor to construct some feeder roads and dams in Hong local government to enhance socioeconomic development of the people in Hong.
