Governor Mohammed came to Bauchi with transformation agenda – Deputy Governor Jatau

Newly sworn in Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, Mohammed Auwal Jatau has said that the Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir came to Bauchi with a clear and implementable agenda of transforming the entire state positively better than how it was in 2019. 

He therefore expressed confidence that by the end of the second tenure of the administration considering what has been done in the last 4 years, the state will be wholistically transformed into a development model for other states in the country to emulate. 

Mohammed Jatau made the assertion while fielding questions from Journalists in Bauchi following his inauguration as the new Deputy Governor of Bauchi State. 

He said that over the last four years, citizens of Bauchi State saw for themselves, how the Governor Bala-led administration executed countless projects cutting across nooks and crannies of the state. 

He commended citizens of the state for giving the Governor along with him another mandate to serve, saying, “I am highly delighted and exceptionally happy to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the people of Bauchi State, to the people that wisely choose this government to pilot the affairs of the state for the next four years.” 

The Deputy Governor added that, “It is my humble belief that they have the right and the wisest choice of re-electing Distinguish Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir to continue the good work and the hard work that he has started in Bauchi.” 

According to him, “It is also my hope and belief that by the time Senator Bala Mohammed finished his second tenure as a governor, the state will be wholistically transformed.” 

The Deputy Governor further said that the re-election of Governor Bala Mohammed clearly showed that citizens of the state have trust in him on what he is going to offer them and called on them to rally around policy and programmes of the government to enable them to succeed.

Auwal Jatau said that, “What we are expecting from the people that voted us to power is to be patient. We believe they will see not only dividends of democracy as they have seen in the previous four years, they will see a more positive result from Senator Bala Mohammed Kauran Bauchi.”

According to him, “By the end of this tenure, Bauchi state will be a model for development and progress for other states to copy and emulate”.
