Governor Mutfwang congratulates Grace on election as Plateau NAWOJ chairperson

Plateau State Governor, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, has congratulated Grace Gotip of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Chapel on her election as chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Plateau State Chapter.
Grace was elected unopposed alongside other executive members who will lead the association for the next three years.
In a statement issued by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, Governor Mutfwang described the election as a positive step towards amplifying women’s voices and promoting gender inclusiveness in public discourse.
He noted that the new leadership aligns with his administration’s commitment to empowering women to contribute meaningfully to societal growth.
The Governor expressed confidence that the new executives would bring fresh energy to the fight against gender-based violence and other challenges affecting women.
He praised Gotip for her leadership qualities and urged the entire team to uphold integrity, inclusion, and excellence in their professional duties.
The newly elected NAWOJ Plateau Chapter executives include: Vice Chairperson, Yvonne Ishola (Plateau Publishing Corporation), Secretary, Mwuese Praise Adem (Highland FM), and Assistant Secretary, Esther Andrew (State Information Chapel).
Others are Treasurer, Jembyen Zitta (PRTVC Chapel), Financial Secretary, Patience Aliyu (News Agency of Nigeria) and Auditor, Asile Emmanuel Abel (Correspondents Chapel).
Governor Mutfwang, on behalf of the state government and its people, extended his best wishes to the new officers and prayed for divine wisdom and strength in their new roles.
