Governor Mutfwang felicitates with Plateau Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Dewan on birthday

Plateau State Governor, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, has joined his associates, well-wishers, and other distinguished sons and daughters of Plateau, in extending warm wishes to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Gabriel K. Dewan, on his birthday.

Governor Mutfwang, in a heartfelt message, described Hon. Dewan, the youngest Speaker in Nigeria, as a patriotic and devoted son of Plateau State, who steadfastly defended the state’s ideals and core values when it mattered most.

This was contained in a statement Monday by Gyang Bere, Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor of Plateau State.

He applauded Honorable Dewan’s pivotal role and immense contribution to the rebuilding of modern Plateau, noting his commitment to positive impact and excellence in governance.

The Governor commended the Speaker’s peaceful disposition, sense of unity, and dedication to protecting Plateau’s cherished heritage, and urged him to continue promoting community cohesion and serving as a worthy Ambassador of Plateau youths.

He encouraged Hon. Dewan to passionately represent his Pankshin North constituency and the entire state, in order to deliver the dividends of good governance and quality service to the people.

On behalf of the government and the peace-loving people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang extended his heartfelt congratulations to Rt. Hon. Dewan, praying for God to grant him strength, sound health, and boundless energy to continue serving the state.
