Governor Namadi appoints permanent members Jigawa Civil Service Commission, urges productivity

Governor Umar Namadi has approved the appointment of Babandi Saleh as Permanent Member II of the Jigawa State Civil Service Commission.

This announcement was made in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.

In addition, the Governor has approved the appointment of Ibrahim Adamu Fagam as Permanent Member III of the Commission.

The statement revealed that the elevation of Muhammad Bare from Permanent Member II to Permanent Member I of the Jigawa State Civil Service has also been approved by the Governor.

The SSG further stated that the appointments of Babandi Saleh and Ibrahim Adamu Fagam followed their screening and confirmation by the Jigawa State House of Assembly during its sitting No. 031 on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025, equivalent to 24th Safar, 1447AH.

The appointments have been made based on merit, competence, and personal integrity.

“I urge the new appointees to discharge their duties diligently in accordance with the laid down procedures establishing the Commission,” the SSG emphasized.

The statement clarified that all appointments take immediate effect.
