Governor Radda appoints Surv. Masanawa as new Katsina State Surveyor General

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved the appointment of Surv. Saifillahi Umar Masanawa as the new Surveyor General of the State with immediate effect.
His appointment follows the retirement of the former Surveyor General, Surv. Farouk Ammani, from the State Civil Service last year.
The appointment was conveyed through a letter signed by the Head of Civil Service. Governor Radda expressed confidence in Surv. Masanawa capacity to serve the State with dedication and to spearhead meaningful reforms that will further reposition the Office of the Surveyor General for greater efficiency and productivity.
Surv. Saifillahi Umar Masanawa holds a Bachelor of Technology (Hons) degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Land Surveying. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Surveyors (NIS) and a registered surveyor with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON).
Governor Radda congratulated the new Surveyor General and urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by bringing professionalism, innovation, and integrity to his new role.
The Governor expressed optimism that the appointment will further strengthen the State’s land administration system and support ongoing development initiatives across critical sectors.
He also charged Surv. Masanawa to uphold the principles of dedication, integrity, and professionalism in carrying out his duties consistent with the Building Your Future agenda, which emphasizes transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery to the people of Katsina State.
