Governor Radda attends wedding Fatiha of Dr. Khadija, daughter of Alhaji Dutsin-Ma, Abdulrasheed, son of former IGP Abubakar

The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, Saturday attended the wedding Fatiha of Dr. Khadija Mukhtar Abdulkadir and Abdulrasheed Mohammed, held at the iconic Sultan Bello Mosque in Kaduna.
The colourful ceremony was jointly hosted by Alhaji Mukhtar Abdulkadir Dutsin-Ma and former Inspector General of Police, IGP (rtd.) Mohammed Dikko Abubakar, proud parents of the bride and groom respectively.
The bride, Dr. Khadija, is a granddaughter of late Nigeria’s former President, Muhammadu Buhari, while the groom, Abdulrasheed, is the son of the respected former Inspector General of Police, MD Abubakar.
Former Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, served as the Waliyy (guardian) of the bride, while Architect Ibrahim Bunu stood as the Waliyy of the groom.
Special prayers were offered for the newlyweds, seeking Allah’s blessings for a joyful, peaceful, and prosperous married life. The event radiated joy, elegance, and the warmth of family and friendship.
The Wedding Fatiha attracted a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, family members, and well-wishers who came to celebrate the union of two esteemed families.
Among the notable personalities in attendance were former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff; former Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi.
Others included former Director-General of the DSS, Alhaji Lawal Daura; former Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika; Chairman of the Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Kabir Ibrahim Sarkin Alhazai; Danmadamin Daura, Alhaji Musa Haro; business mogul, Alhaji Aminu SDY.
The late President’s son, Yusuf Buhari, also graced the occasion.
