He warned Sen. Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani to stop parading herself as the gubernatorial candidate of the party and gave the party 14 days within which to appeal the judgement.
One of the governorship aspirants and former EFCC chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu had dragged INEC, APC and candidate of the APC for the 2023 governorship election Sen. Aishatu Dahihu to court for for alleged irregularities in the conduct of the primaries.
Ribadu told the candidate that the conduct of the primaries was characterized by vote buying, alleged two delegates list from Lamurde local govt area as the original delegates were denied voting during the elections.
The plaintiff sought for declaration that the election be declared null and void and he (Ribadu) as the runners up in the election should be declared the winner of the primaries.
