Governorship/assembly polls: Buhari, security chiefs in closed door meeting

Ahead of Saturday’s governorship and houses of assembly elections, President Muhamamdu Buhari and top security chiefs are meeting at Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja to map out strategies to check violence.
Apex News gathered that those present at the meeting are Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar Sadique.
Also in attendance are National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan- Ali, Minister of Interior, Lt-Gen Abdulrahaman Dambazau, (rtd), Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Abubakar, acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu and the Director General of Department for State Service (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi. The meeting is being held behind closed doors.
