Groups endorse Central bank of Nigeria Governor, Emefiele for President

Groups from the North under the umbrella of Unified Northern Nigeria Youths Forum has called on the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Goodwin Emefiele to pick the presidential ticket of Nigeria.
The group said that his contest in the come 2023 election is to consolidate on the achievements of the present government of president Muhammadu Buhari.
Emefiele’s call to the contest was made through spokesperson of the group, Aliyu Mohammed Sani at a press conference in Yola, the state capital.
Sani said the called became necessary and highly in evitable by virtue of his quality and capacity in order to ensure fairness, equity and justice among the major ethnic groups in Nigeria.
They also explained that, since the inception of the present democratic dispensation in Nigeria, only two of the major ethnic groups which are Yoruba and Hausa Fulani that dominates the presidential position therefore, Igbo extraction should be given the opportunity.
Sani expressed concern that “there is need to consider Igbo ethnic group for president come 2023, for the overall interest of peace, justice and fairness.
  He noted that Emefiele is the right person to rule this country, considering his tremendous achievements as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), where he established himself as a true leader, technocrat and economist of the highest order.
The group however urged the apex bank Governor to be prepare by respond positively to the group call to declare for president come 2023 for the overall interest of the nation.
