GUO condemns touts in name of revenue, IGR collection

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GUO Motors, Chief Godwin Ubaka Okeke has condemns touts in the name of revenue and IGR collection while advocating sustainable solutions for South East’s prosperity.
Chief Okeke voiced his concerns about the current state of affairs in Anambra State and Nigeria, particularly in the South East region.
Chief Executive Officer of GUO Motors highlighted a pressing issue that he had addressed two years prior, emphasizing the urgent need for collective action to uplift the country’s youth population.
He recalled his past efforts, having invested so much in initiatives aimed at empowering Nigerian youths.
Chief Okeke recounted a positive response from Northern Youth Groups, who appreciated his efforts and echoed the sentiment that government intervention in youth development could significantly mitigate societal challenges.
The Chairman GUO passionately stressed the importance of creating opportunities for the youth, stressing that a comfortable youth population is key to National peace.
He strongly criticizes the use of touts for revenue and IGR collection, urging for ethical, sustainable solutions to foster prosperity in the South East, insights illuminate a path toward economic revival and lasting growth.
Chief Executive Officer of GUO Motors expressed his thoughts on government programs, such as the ‘One Youth, Two Skills’ initiative and emphasized the need for adequate funding and active engagement.
Chief Okeke believed that government support would not only alleviate unemployment but also attract business investments, citing the decline in Onitsha market’s vibrancy due to security concerns.
He proposed a collaborative approach between government officials and experienced entrepreneurs like himself and suggested involving established traders and leaders to formulate strategies for generating revenue without disrupting the peace.
The Chairman GUO urged the government to reevaluate its approach to revenue generation, discouraging the sponsorship of individuals he referred to as ‘touts’ under the guise of revenue collection.
