Gwong/Nyenkpa Advocacy Network presents awards of excellence to illustrious deserving politicians in the zone

In an effort to spur them to do more in their various political endeavours, a Non Governmental Political Organisation, PDP Gwong/Nenpka Advocacy Network has given awards of excellence to five illustrious politicians of the area.
Presenting the award to the recipients at the Lt. Luka Yusuf Town Hall Bara Kagoma during the weekend who included: Honourable Shehu Nicholas Garba, Honourable Labari Tela, Honourable Edward Percy Masha, Architect Ayuba Natsa and Honourable Peter Kadanya the Coordinator of the network, Honourable Bako Bulus stated that, the network is a broad based People’s Democratic Party Advocacy Network comprising of members drawn from the three wards of Gwong zone in Jema’a Local Government aimed at standing in the gap between the elected and the electorates.
He added that the objectives of the network inluded: bringing political development to Jema’a Local Government and Kaduna State in general, advocating for unity among PDP members in addition to embarking on membership drive for the Party.
While congratulating the beneficiaries, he urged them not to relent in their efforts to taking the area into another level of political development.
Also speaking at the event. The special guest of the occasion, The Senator Southern Kaduna Senatorial Zone Barrister Sunday Marshall Katung expressed confidence that the People’s Democratic Party will restored its lost mandate in Kaduna State come 2027.
Represented by the Member Kaduna State House Of Assembly Jema’a Constituency Honourable Ali Kalat, the Law maker said the People’s Democratic Party has all the three Senators in Kaduna State, and will definitely put all hands on deck to ensure all elected Officers and Stakeholders work together with members of the party to correct the wrongs of the past geared to getting the desired result from now to 2027.
He said, it is the prayers and desires of all members of the party in the State that power comes back to the party, against which backdrop he commended the organisers of the event for their foresight, which will spur politicians to add value to their responsibilities, and do the right thing that reflects the yearnings and aspirations of the people of their communities.
The Senator expressed his readiness to partner The PDP Gwong/Nenpka Advocacy Network, and any group that will work geared towards the development of the People’s Democratic Party.
In his speech, the Chairman of the occasion Honourable Jerry Mutuah mentioned that what Gwong/Nenpka Advocacy Network is doing is timely, owing to the fact that bringing political development to the People’s Democratic Party is what each member should lay emphasis upon.
Mutuah congratulated the recipients and urged them to take the award as a recognition and tonic that would give them the strength and encouragement to do more.
In a keen address, the Patron of the Network, the Senior Legislative Aide to the Senator Southern Kaduna Senatorial Zone Honourable Wilson Iliya Yangye congratulated the recipients of the award and admonished them not to hesitate in doing more for the people.
Yangye commended the organisers of the program saying that what the PDP Gwong/Nenpka Advocacy Network is doing is very impactful and urged them to partner other political networks in the area and environs, to fastract Democratic dividends driven in Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, Honourable Daniel Amos and Honourable Ali Kalat renewed hope agendas in their communities.
Speaking on behalf of the recipients, Honourable Shehu Nicholas Garba thanked the PDP Gwong/Nenpka Advocacy Network for selecting them for the awards.
Garba said the network’s existence would only be justifiable through fraternities with other networks in other zones to make it merrier.
He observed that they have received several awards from different quotas but this award was very special because, getting award from the people of your immediate milieu is the best award, owing to the fact they are really appreciating your stewardship.
